Statuses and user roles

Each shift usually moves through two key states: Draft before publication and Published once visible to employees.

Standard scheduling workflow

Steps

  • 1. Create a new shift in Planning and assign an employee, or leave it empty for an open shift.

  • 2. Set the role, start/end time, allocated time, and any note if needed.

  • 3. Review conflict warnings before finalizing the schedule.

  • 4. Use Publish & Send to release the schedule to employees.
