The financial reporting module in Odoo provides comprehensive analysis and reporting tools to track business financial status. All reports are updated in real-time from accounting data.

Balance Sheet
Access: Invoicing → Reports → Balance Sheet
Report of assets and equity at a point in time:
Key points
• Assets: Current assets, long-term assets
• Liabilities: Current liabilities, long-term liabilities
• Equity: Capital, retained earnings
• Formula: Assets = Liabilities + Equity
• Select report date to view position at that time
• Compare with previous period to see changes
Income Statement
Access: Invoicing → Reports → Income Statement
Report of revenue, expenses and profit in a period:
Key points
• Revenue: Sales revenue, services
• Cost of Goods Sold (COGS): Direct costs
• Gross Profit: Revenue - COGS
• Operating Expenses: Management, sales
• Operating Profit: Gross Profit - Operating Expenses
• Net Profit: After tax and other expenses
Cash Flow Statement
Access: Invoicing → Reports → Cash Flow Statement
Report of cash inflows/outflows by activity:
Key points
• Operating Activities: Cash from main operations
• Investing Activities: Purchase/sale of fixed assets
• Financing Activities: Borrowing/repaying, capital contributions
• Opening Cash + Net Cash Flow = Closing Cash
• Analyze liquidity and cash management
Invoice Analysis
Access: Invoicing → Reports → Invoice Analysis
Detailed analysis of customer/vendor invoices:
Steps
1. Select type: Customer Invoices or Vendor Bills
2. Select period: Month, quarter, year
3. View data as table or chart
4. Group by: Customer, Product, Salesperson
5. Filter: Status, date, partner
6. Drill-down: Click row to view details
7. Export: Export to Excel for further analysis
Aged Receivable
Access: Invoicing → Reports → Aged Receivable

Tax Report
Access: Invoicing → Reports → Tax Report
Value-added tax report:
Steps
1. Select tax period: Month, quarter
2. View output VAT from sales
3. View input VAT from purchases
4. Calculate tax payable: Output VAT - Input VAT
5. Drill-down to view details of each invoice
6. Export report for tax authority submission
7. Support multiple tax rates: 0%, 5%, 10%
General Ledger
Access: Invoicing → Reports → General Ledger

1. PDF: Print or save PDF with company header/footer
