The Job Board - Website module allows posting job openings to the company website and using AI to generate professional job descriptions. The module automatically publishes job postings and redirects applicants to the recruitment page on the website.
With AI features using Odoo Language Generation (OLG), you can create engaging job descriptions in seconds. Applicants apply directly on the company website without needing external accounts.

AI Feature - Odoo Language Generation
The AI feature uses Odoo Language Generation (OLG) to create professional job descriptions from existing information. AI analyzes job position information and generates engaging, readable descriptions.

Generate Job Description with AI
Use AI to create professional job descriptions in seconds.
Steps
1. Go to Recruitment → Jobs and select the position
2. Click Post Job button on the form
3. In the wizard, click Generate with AI button
4. System sends request to AI service (consumes IAP credits)
5. AI generates description in seconds and displays in Description field
6. Review and edit content if needed
7. Click Post Job to publish
AI Error Handling
Common Errors

Post Job to Website
Post job openings to company website with Redirect to Website method.
Steps
1. Go to Recruitment → Jobs and select the position
2. Click Post Job button on the form
3. In Apply Method field, select Redirect to Website
4. Job Apply URL field will automatically display the recruitment page URL
5. Optional: Click Generate with AI to create description or enter manually
6. In Job Board field, select platforms to post to
7. Review information and click Post Job
8. System will publish to website and post to selected platforms

Manage Website Job Posts
Update, hide, or delete job posts on website from Odoo.
Key points
• Update post: Go to Recruitment → Job Posts → select post → click Update → edit information → click Post Job
• Hide post: Open job position → disable Website Published → post will be hidden from website immediately
• Delete post: Open post → click Action → Delete → confirm deletion
• Updating website posts is free and updates immediately
Track Applicants from Website
Applicants applying through website will automatically have resumes created in Odoo.
Steps
1. Applicant fills form on company website
2. Resume automatically created in Odoo
3. Notification email sent to recruiter
4. View applicants at Recruitment → Applications
5. Information includes: Name, email, phone, attached CV, cover letter, source: Website
Manage IAP Credits
AI features require IAP credits. Each description generation consumes a small amount of credits.
Key points
• Track credits: Go to Settings → IAP to view balance
• Purchase credits: Click Buy Credits button in Settings → IAP
• Optimize costs: Only use AI when truly needed, edit existing descriptions instead of creating new
• Save good descriptions as templates for future use
• You can regenerate multiple times until satisfied
