360-Degree Feedback & Search
Collect multi-source feedback and manage appraisals effectively
360-degree feedback allows collecting assessments from multiple sources: colleagues, collaborators, managers, and subordinates. This feature requires the hr_appraisal_survey module to be installed.
Enable 360 Feedback feature
HR Managers can enable 360-degree feedback through module settings.
Steps
1. Go to Settings → Modules → Appraisals
2. Check 360 Feedback to install hr_appraisal_survey module
3. System will add survey functionality to appraisals
4. Restart Odoo if needed
Create 360-degree survey
Request feedback from colleagues and collaborators during appraisal process.
Steps
1. Open appraisal in Ongoing status
2. In 360 Feedback tab, click Add a line
3. Select people to survey (colleagues, collaborators, managers)
4. System sends email requesting them to complete survey
5. Results are aggregated into appraisal
Search appraisals
Use search bar to quickly find appraisals.
Key points
• Type employee name to find their appraisals
• Search by department
• Search by manager
• System suggests matching results

Key points
• Status: View count by status
• Employee: View all appraisals for one employee

• Plan ahead: Configure automation plans for system to auto-create appraisals on schedule
• Use templates: Create department-specific templates to ensure consistency

• Privacy: Use Unpublished feature if feedback needs to remain private

• Final Rating information only visible to managers
• Unpublished feedback appears blurred to others
• Only HR Officer and above can view all appraisals
• Employees only see their own appraisals
When completing appraisal
Key points
• Always select Final Rating before marking as done
• Send notification email to employee about results
• Schedule meeting to discuss results if needed
• Archive appraisal to preserve history
