Mondial Relay
Delivery via Relay point network
The Mondial Relay module integrates delivery service via Mondial Relay's Point Relais® network into Odoo.
Allows customers to select the nearest Relay point as delivery address with interactive map widget, calculate shipping rates based on pricing rules and provide shipment tracking links.

• Default shipping prices are examples, need adjustment according to actual agreement with Mondial Relay

Configure Mondial Relay Shipping Method
The system has pre-created 3 Mondial Relay methods for different regions. You can view and edit their configuration.
Steps
1. Go to Inventory → Configuration → Delivery → Shipping Methods
2. Filter methods with name "Mondial Relay"
3. System has 3 pre-configured methods: Mondial Relay (BE/LU), Mondial Relay (FR/NL), Mondial Relay (ES)
4. Open a method to view/edit configuration
5. Check Provider = Based on Rules, Integration Level = Get Rate
6. View applicable Countries (BE/LU, FR/NL, or ES)
7. Find Brand Code field and replace BDTEST with actual brand code provided by Mondial Relay
8. Click Save to save changes
Default Pricing Rules
Example: Mondial Relay (FR/NL)

Select Relay Point When Creating Order
The Relay point selection process is performed through an interactive map widget when adding shipping cost to the order.
Steps
1. Go to Sales → Orders → Quotations
2. Create or open an order
3. Fill in customer information and products
4. Click Add Shipping (or Set price if delivery line exists)
5. In wizard, select Mondial Relay method matching the country
6. Map widget displays automatically
7. Enter postal code or address to search for nearest Relay points
8. View list of Relay points on map
9. Click on desired Relay point
10. Click Get Rate to calculate shipping cost
11. Click Apply to confirm
Result After Selecting Relay Point
Key points
• Order delivery address is updated to Relay point address
• This address is saved as a child contact of the customer
• Address ref field has format MR#<relay_id>
• Mondial Relay icon displays next to address
• To change: delete delivery line, click Add Shipping again and select new Relay point
Confirm Order with Mondial Relay
Before confirming order, system will validate consistency between shipping method and delivery address.
Steps
1. Open order with Mondial Relay selected
2. Check: Shipping method is Mondial Relay and delivery address is Relay point (has MR icon)
3. Click Confirm to confirm order
4. System validates: If method is MR but address is not Relay point → Error
5. If valid, order moves to Sales Order status
Handle Mismatch Error
If you encounter error "Mondial Relay mismatch between delivery method and shipping address", follow these steps.
Key points
• Cause: Selected Mondial Relay method but delivery address is regular address, or vice versa
• Fix: Delete delivery line
• Select appropriate shipping method again
• If using MR, must select Relay point via widget
• Confirm order again
Track Mondial Relay Shipments
After validating transfer, you can track package status via Mondial Relay tracking link.
Key points
• Go to Inventory → Operations → Transfers
• Open delivery order for Mondial Relay order
• After validating transfer, Tracking Reference field will have tracking code
• Click tracking link to open Mondial Relay tracking page
• Link format: https://www.mondialrelay.com/public/permanent/tracking.aspx?ens=<BRAND>&exp=<TRACKING>&language=<LANG>
• Customers can track package status on Mondial Relay website without login
Practical Tips
Key points
• For sales staff: Always confirm country before selecting method, check postal code, save frequently used Relay points, do not manually edit Relay address
• For warehouse staff: Check address has MR icon, print correct shipping label, update tracking reference
• For administrators: Update real Brand Code (replace BDTEST), adjust pricing rules per contract, add countries if needed, periodically check map widget
