Retention vs Churn Mode

Key points

  • Retention Mode: Shows % of users still active vs original cohort. High value = good.

  • Churn Mode: Shows % of users who left vs original cohort. Low value = good.

  • Retention Formula: (Active Users in Period / Total Cohort Size) × 100%
