Set up recurring shifts
Steps
1. Open the shift form and enable Repeat.
2. Choose Repeat every to define every N days, weeks, months, or years.
3. Select the Repeat type: Forever, Until, or Number of occurrences.
4. Save the shift so Odoo can generate the recurring series.
How the system works
Odoo creates recurring shifts through a background job and only generates them for a limited forward window to preserve performance.
According to the user guide, the default forward generation window is about 6 months instead of generating the entire series at once.
