When matching control points exist, Odoo can automatically create quality checks during manufacturing order confirmation, require completion before marking the order done, and log alerts whenever issues are found.

How checks appear on manufacturing orders

Performing production quality checks
Steps
1. Open the Manufacturing Order and click Quality Check when inspections are pending.
2. The wizard opens the first incomplete inspection and shows instructions, products, lots or serials, and tolerance data if relevant.
3. Carry out the check according to its type: instructions, picture, pass-fail, measure, or register materials.
4. Mark Pass when the result is acceptable, or Fail when a problem is found.
5. Repeat until all quality checks linked to the manufacturing order are complete.
Checks as a completion gate
When a user clicks Mark as Done on a manufacturing order, Odoo verifies whether all related quality checks have been completed. If checks are still pending or unresolved failures remain, completion is blocked.
