How to Use

Steps

  • 1. Install POS Online Payment Self Order module in Odoo

  • 2. Configure POS: Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale

  • 3. Enable "Self Order" and "Online Payment" options

  • 4. Configure payment gateway (Stripe, PayPal, Mercado Pago, etc.)

  • 5. Set up menu and products to display for self order

  • 6. Create QR codes for each table or area: Point of Sale → Self Order → QR Codes

  • 7. Print QR codes and place at tables or customer areas

  • 8. Customers scan QR code, view menu, and order

  • 9. Customers select payment method and complete

  • 10. Order automatically sent to POS and production department


Scenario 1: Customer orders at restaurant table

Customer sits at table 5, scans QR code on table. Menu displays on phone, customer selects "Beef Pho", "Spring rolls", and "Iced tea". Adds note "No onions", pays by card.

Order automatically sent to kitchen, staff only needs to bring dishes when ready.


Scenario 2: Order ahead at cafe

Customer on way to cafe, scans QR code from poster or website. Orders "Cappuccino size L" and "Croissant", pays online.

When arriving at cafe, drink is ready, customer picks up and goes without waiting.


Scenario 3: Busy food court

Customer arrives at food court, scans QR code at counter. Selects dishes from multiple stalls: "Pho" from stall A, "Milk tea" from stall B. Pays once for everything.

Each stall receives separate order, customer receives number and waits for call.

Guest in room 302 scans QR code in room. Orders "Western breakfast", selects delivery time "7:00 AM", charges to room bill.

Kitchen receives order, prepares and delivers on time. No need to call to order.
