Quality Control IoT in Odoo
Use IoT-connected cameras and measurement devices to perform inventory quality checks faster and with better accuracy.
Quality Control IoT combines Quality Control with Quality IoT and focuses on automated image capture and measurements in warehouse inspection flows.
Users open a check, click Take Picture or Get Measurement, and the device output is stored directly on the inspection record.
Two main usage patterns

How to run an IoT-enabled quality check
Steps
1. Open the quality check from the transfer or from the Quality Checks list.
2. Identify whether the check is Picture or Measure based.
3. For Picture, position the product and click Take Picture to capture the image with the IoT camera.
4. For Measure, prepare the device and click Get Measurement so Odoo can populate the reading automatically.
5. Evaluate the outcome and mark the check as Pass or Fail.
