How to Use
Steps
1. Configure API: Settings → General Settings → Barcode Lookup, select service (UPCitemdb, Barcode Lookup) and enter API key
2. Enable for POS: Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale, enable "Enable Barcode Lookup"
3. Configure permissions: Allow staff to create new products from POS if needed
4. Scan barcode at POS: Scan barcode of product not in system
5. View lookup information: Popup displays name, description, image, suggested price from database
6. Edit information: Adjust name, price, category, taxes if needed
7. Create product: Click "Create Product" to add to Odoo inventory
8. Add to order: New product automatically added to cart
9. Complete payment: Continue sales as usual
