How to Use
Steps
1. Install POS Sale module in Odoo
2. Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale
3. Select POS to configure, enable "Create Sales Orders"
4. Configure default delivery address if needed
5. Open POS session, add products to cart
6. Select customer (required for Sales Order)
7. Click "Sales Order" button instead of "Payment"
8. Enter delivery information: address, expected delivery date
9. Choose payment method: Deposit, Full payment, or COD
10. Confirm, system creates Sales Order and may create Delivery Order
11. Track delivery in Sales → Orders or Inventory → Delivery
Scenario 1: Customer buys refrigerator, requests home delivery
Customer selects 15M refrigerator at showroom, wants delivery home on weekend.
Staff creates Sales Order from POS, enters delivery address, expected delivery Saturday. Customer deposits 5M, remaining COD. System creates sales order and delivery order, warehouse staff prepares goods on schedule.
Scenario 2: Pharmacy delivers medicine to home
Customer comes to counter to buy medicine, requests home delivery as inconvenient to carry.
Pharmacist creates order from POS, selects "Create Sales Order", enters delivery address. Customer pays in full at counter. Delivery staff receives picking slip and delivers within 2 hours.
