CRM Integration
Track leads and opportunities from email marketing campaigns
The Mass Mailing CRM module connects Email Marketing with CRM, allowing you to track the number of leads/opportunities created from email marketing campaigns.
View detailed analysis of leads generated from each mailing, use lead count as criteria for A/B testing, receive statistics emails with KPIs about leads created.
Track Leads from Email Marketing
When sending a mailing, the system automatically creates a UTM source, tracks all leads/opportunities created with this UTM source, and displays the lead count directly on the mailing form.
Steps
1. Go to Email Marketing → Mailings.
2. Open a sent mailing.
3. View the Leads/Opportunities Count field showing the number of leads created from this mailing.
4. This count includes all leads/opportunities with source_id matching the mailing's UTM source.
View Leads/Opportunities report
The analysis screen automatically filters by the mailing's UTM source, groups by creation date, displays archived leads.
Steps
1. Go to Email Marketing → Mailings.
2. Open the mailing to view.
3. Click the View Leads or View Opportunities button (depending on company configuration).
4. System opens the leads analysis screen with view modes: List, Pivot, Graph, Form.
A/B Testing with Leads
Use lead count as the criterion to select the winning email version in A/B testing.
Steps
1. Go to Email Marketing → Mailings.
2. Create a new mailing.
3. In the A/B Testing tab, check Enable A/B Testing.
4. In the Winner Selection field, select Leads.
5. Configure the percentage of recipients for test A and B.
6. Set the waiting time before selecting the winner.
7. Create 2 different email versions.
How A/B Testing works
The system sends version A and B to the test group, after the waiting time counts the leads created from each version, the version that creates more leads is selected as the winner and sent to the remaining list.
Key points
• Version A: Test with 10-20% of the list.
• Version B: Test with 10-20% of the list.
• Waiting time: 24-48 hours to collect data.
• Winner: Version with more leads sent to remaining 60-80%.
Statistics email with Leads KPI
After sending a mailing, the responsible person automatically receives a statistics email with the number of emails sent, open rate, click rate, and number of Leads created.
Key points
• Leads KPI only displays when the mailing has a responsible person.
• Responsible person must have read permission on crm.lead model.
• At least 1 lead created from the mailing.
UTM Tracking integration
Each mailing automatically has UTM Source, UTM Campaign, and UTM Medium. When a customer clicks a link in the email and creates a lead, this UTM is automatically recorded.
| Fields | Trường dữ liệu | Description |
|---|---|---|
| UTM Source | UTM Source | Identifies traffic source from mailing. |
| UTM Campaign | UTM Campaign | Links to marketing campaign. |
| UTM Medium | UTM Medium | Always "email" for email marketing. |
Best practices
Key points
• Track conversion funnel: Emails sent → Open rate → Click rate → Leads.
• Compare conversion rates between campaigns.
• Test subject lines with Leads criteria, not just open rate.
• Test call-to-action buttons and sending times.
• Analyze over time: View leads created by day/week after sending.
• Wait at least 3-7 days before evaluating final effectiveness.
• Auto-assign leads based on UTM campaign.
• Compare win rate of leads from email vs. other sources.
• UTM tracking must be accurate: Ensure all links in email have UTM parameters.
