Email marketing for subscription customers

The Mass Mailing Sale Subscription module integrates Mass Mailing with Sale Subscription.

Send bulk emails to customers with active subscriptions, automatically filter only customers with running subscriptions (In Progress), create renewal reminder email campaigns, segment customers by subscription type, value, and time.

Send emails to subscription customers

This module automatically adds filter condition: [("subscription_state", "=", "3_progress")]. This means only send emails to active subscriptions, not cancelled or closed, currently in payment cycle.

Steps

  • 1. Go to Marketing → Email Marketing → Mailings.

  • 2. Click New.

  • 3. Fill in Subject, select Mailing Type: Email, Recipients: Sale Orders.

  • 4. In the Recipients section, select Filter.

  • 5. System automatically filters only active subscriptions (In Progress).


Filter customers by subscription status

When creating campaigns, can additionally filter by subscription type, MRR value, renewal date, usage time, number of renewals.

Key points

  • Send emails to customers expiring soon: filter next_invoice_date within next 30 days.

  • Send emails to VIP customers: filter recurring_monthly >= 5,000,000 VND.


Renewal reminder emails

Create renewal email template with subscription info, expiration date, early renewal offer.

Steps

  • 1. Go to Marketing → Email Marketing → Mailings.

  • 2. Click New.

  • 3. Select template or create new with placeholders: ${object.partner_id.name}, ${object.name}, ${object.next_invoice_date}, ${object.recurring_monthly}.

  • 4. In email form, select Schedule.

  • 5. Select sending time: 30, 15, 7, 1 days before expiration.
