Integrate email marketing with sales management
The Mass Mailing on Sale Orders module integrates Email Marketing with sales management.
Send bulk emails to customers with orders, track quotations and revenue from email campaigns, use sales metrics as criteria for selecting winning campaigns in A/B testing, exclude cancelled orders from email lists.
Track campaign performance
Revenue only counts confirmed invoices (not draft/cancelled).
Steps
1. Go to Email Marketing → Mailings.
2. Select a sent campaign.
3. View the Quotations card showing the number of quotations created.
4. Click on the card to view detailed sales report.
5. View the Invoiced card showing total revenue.
6. Click on the card to view detailed invoice report.
Automatic statistics email
After 24 hours of sending the campaign, the system automatically sends a statistics email including emails sent, open rate, click rate, quotations, and revenue.
Send emails to customers
Steps
1. Go to Email Marketing → Mailings → Create.
2. Select Recipients → Sale Orders.
3. System automatically excludes cancelled orders.
4. Compose email content.
5. Click Send to send.
Filter orders
Can filter by order status, customer, product, order creation date, total order value.
Key points
• Status: Quotation, Sale Order, Done.
• Cancelled orders automatically excluded.
A/B Testing with sales metrics
Steps
1. Go to Email Marketing → Campaigns → Create.
2. Check Enable A/B Testing.
3. In Winner Selection, choose: Quotations (select campaign creating most quotations), Revenues (select campaign with highest revenue), or Highest Click Rate (select campaign with highest click rate).
4. Create email version A with title and content.
5. Click Create Alternative to create version B.
6. Change title or content.
7. Set sending ratio (e.g., 20% A, 20% B, 60% winner).
View A/B Testing results
After sending, system automatically tracks quotations from each version, revenue from each version, click rate of each version. Winning campaign automatically sent to remaining 60%.
Best practices
Key points
• Track UTM: Ensure campaign has UTM Source to track quotations.
• Sending time: Send emails during business hours (9am-5pm) to increase open rate.
• Personalized content: Use customer name, purchased products.
• ROI: Compare campaign cost with revenue generated.
• Conversion rate: Ratio from email → quotation → order.
• Average order value: Average value per order from campaign.
• Test one element: Only change title OR content, not both.
• Large enough sample: Need at least 100 recipients per version.
• Enough time: Wait at least 24-48 hours before evaluating results.
