Send SMS to event track speakers
The Track Speakers SMS Marketing module bridges event management with SMS marketing.
Send bulk SMS to track speakers, use combined SMS + Email interface for marketing campaigns, integrate with website_event_track module for speaker management.
Send SMS to event speakers
Steps
1. Go to Events → Events.
2. Select the event to send SMS for.
3. Click the Track Speakers button or go to the Tracks tab.
4. Click Action → Send SMS or Mass Mailing.
5. System opens SMS form with combined interface (SMS + Email).
Fill in SMS information

Send SMS
Steps
1. Click Test to send test SMS.
2. Enter phone number to receive test SMS.
3. Check received SMS content.
4. Click Send to send to all speakers.
Best practices
Key points
• Check phone numbers: Ensure all speakers have valid phone numbers before sending.
• Keep it concise: SMS has 160 character limit, write short and clear.
• Send test: Always send test SMS before bulk sending.
• 1 week before event: Remind speakers to prepare.
• 1 day before event: Confirm time and location.
• After event: Thank and collect feedback.
